My recent works are developed from private and institutional archives and shaped through site-specific processes. I use painting, drawing, video, screen printing and installation to approach the visible as something to question, to delay, to frame. Camouflage, concealment and repetition function not as refusal but as forms of construction.

This work began from a need to find a place for my painting, a place that did not exist. I continue to situate it by working with what is already there: objects, traces, spatial arrangements. Each work addresses how images are made to appear, and what remains unresolved in their presentation.
