Fliegende Blätter von Marthe Lallemand zeigt eine Auswahl von Titeln aus dem Magazin der HGB-Bibliothek, darunter die Zeitschrift Fliegende Blätter (1844–1944), Imago, FKW, Imprimatur, Reichsdrucke, Das Plakat, usw. Die Auswahl folgt einer feministischen Spur durch den Bestand. Nebeneinandergestellt teilen diese Titel ein gemeinsames Vokabular: Spuren dessen, was in einer Kultur gezeigt oder verborgen wird, wenn es nicht „enthüllt” ist. 

Von jedem Titel wird eine Seite reproduziert: Titelseite, Schmutztitel, Frontispiz, Vorsatzblatt, Buchdeckel, Vakatseite oder Impressum – von Hand, mal als Bleistiftzeichnung, mal als Hochdruck oder Malerei. Das Format bleibt einheitlich, 76 × 56 cm, unabhängig von Sinn, Zuordnung oder Papierqualität. Die Plakate, in genähte Tarnhüllen aus Teepapier gehüllt, integrieren sich ortsspezifisch in Objekte und Architektur der Bibliothek sowie Vitrinen und Regale.

“Half-titles” — Fliegende Blätter by Marthe Lallemand presents a selection of titles from the HGB Library’s magazine collection, including the journal Fliegende Blätter (1844–1944), Imago, FKW, Imprimatur, Reichsdrucke, Das Plakat, and others. The selection follows a feminist thread through the collection. Placed side by side, these titles share a common vocabulary: traces of what a culture displays or conceals when it is not “unveiled.”

From each title, the half-title, frontispiece, endpaper, cover, blank page, or colophon is reproduced by hand through various techniques — pencil drawing, relief printing, or painting — in a uniform format of 76 × 56 cm, regardless of meaning, classification, or paper quality. Wrapped in sewn camouflage sleeves made of tea paper, the posters integrate site-specifically into the objects and architecture of the library, as well as its display cases and shelves.
